Day 1 ReportA view of all the cyclists getting their bikes put back together after the trip.
More cyclists hanging around waiting for the start at 11am.
Cyclists grouping for the mass start. There were about 850 cyclists on the trip this year.
There were more tandems on this years ride. These two are foldable tandems. Apparently you can fit them in a suitcase.
This is a small group of cyclists, by riding in a bunch those at the back are able to get a break from the wind.

Day 2 ReportThe view of the road ahead, this was taken not far from Agnes Water.

At Rosedale, this tree made a really handy bike rack.

My tent also became a washing line today.
There were a lot of families on this years ride, one of the many Trailabikes that was being used.

Day 5
Day 5 ReportToday was teams day, this is one of the groups waiting for a group photo.

The road ahead. This was heading towards Woodgate. There was no shelter from the wind on this road.
The baggage truck was just about overflowing today.
There are still a few bags on the truck, but this is a large number of them.
The campsite today was also a grazing area for the Kangaroos. They didn't hang around long though.
A lot of cyclists were enjoying the beach today.

There was an afternoon shower, subsequently all of the tents got wet.

Day 7 ReportThese mountains are at Biggenden, this was the first clear view we got of them because of the rain yesterday.

We passed through this small town, Didcot. It took about 2 mins to go through, and that was on the bike.
